Log off, not out

A dumbphone does calls, texts and not much else: no feeds, no doomscrolling, days of battery.

Own your music

An iPod keeps your songs offline and ad-free. Plug in wired headphones and just listen.

Iconic design

The phones everyone wanted in the 2000s and 2010s, now sealed or graded and ready for round two.

Before the Google ban, Huawei made some of the best phones of the decade. These classics from 2016 to 2018, including the P9 with its Leica dual camera, the P20 Pro, the big-battery Mate 9, Mate 10 and Mate 20, and the glassy Honor 9, all run full Android with Google Play.

FAQ.txt

Can I still use an iPod touch in 2026?

Yes. The iPod touch plays your music, videos and podcasts offline, works with wired or Bluetooth headphones and connects to Wi-Fi. Its last software update was iOS 15 (7th generation), so some newer apps won't install, but music and media work perfectly.

What's the best dumbphone for a digital detox?

For calls and texts with days of battery, choose a simple Nokia such as the Nokia 225 4G or Nokia 8110 4G. If you still need WhatsApp, look at a 4G model. Browse our dumbphones or read our guide to the best dumbphones in the UK.

Will an old phone work on UK networks?

UK 3G networks have now switched off. Most older phones still make calls and texts over 2G, and 4G models work normally, but mobile data on older 3G-only phones will be very slow. 2G will be phased out by 2033, so for long-term use pick a 4G phone.

What do NEW · SEALED and USED · GRADED mean?

NEW · SEALED items are brand new old stock, never used. USED · GRADED items are refurbished: fully tested, data-wiped and graded Pristine, Excellent or Good. How we grade.

Are these genuine?

Yes. Every item is genuine and unlocked. Sealed new old stock comes with a 1-month XTEC warranty, because the manufacturer warranty on these older models has ended. Refurbished items come with a 12-month XTEC warranty, and everything has 30-day returns.

Will the battery be OK after years in the box?

Lithium batteries can lose some capacity in storage. We test every device, and if it doesn't hold a charge properly you're covered by our warranty and 30-day returns.
